Delayed Knowledge
I used to think, if I read or researched, that the pay-off was up ahead somewhere. Way up ahead.
Now I think knowledge is in the making. At the very instant of reading or research.
It is as if the book is a sheep from the back of which you wind wool to directly knit into a loose scarf or muffler. A muffler of knowledge.
You are reading, winding, knitting, & wrapping it round you all at the same time. That's the beauty of education.
