SOUTHERN RUSSIA: LERMONTOV STATUE NOT STOLEN AFTER ALL

It emerged today that the monument (to the Romantic poet Mikhail Lermontov) has not been stolen after all. It was simply dismantled on the instructions of the local authorities.
